Apple Rum Cake
4 apples
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbs sugar
4 eggs
1 cup oil
2 cups sugar
3 cup flour
3tsp baking powder
3 tsp vanilla
5 cup orange juice
to taste cinnamon sugar
to taste Barbancourt
to taste honey
directions
slice apples and mix with cinnamon
mix eggs, oil and sugar
add the rest and mix
grease tube pan and dust with cinnamon sugar
pour in half the batter and layer with apples
repeat process
sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
bake 350 for 1 1/2 hours or until clean knife tested
cool
while warm, remove from pan and add rum honey, replace cake in pan and allow it to soak
